Bram Stoker’s Dracula, while not the earliest, is perhaps the best known of all vampire tales.

Tonight’s story, “Dracula’s Guest,” was excised from the original Dracula manuscript by its publisher because of the length of the original book.  It was published as a short story in 1914, two years after Stoker’s death.  

We ought to have a look—don’t you think—at what the publishers originally tried to keep from us?
